Replika Publishing is an independent, artist-run platform for experimental publishing. Founded in Berlin in 2015, and operating between Berlin and Valencia since 2020. We collaborate closely with artists to produce works in small editions which challenge the boundaries of the book as form. Replika supports artists and work that might not otherwise be published and offers space for under-recognised voices and projects rooted in conceptual depth, material inquiry, and artistic dialogue. Our approach is collaborative, flexible, and considered, with a focus on thoughtful production and a commitment to artistic value.

Freya Brooke Verona Copeland (b.1990) is an artist, writer, and translator whose work engages with invented histories and constructed memories. Through the use of archival systems, found imagery, and her own photography, she examines the intersections of institutional authority and personal narratives. Her practice is rooted in a wide range of sources, including ephemera, ethnographic objects, craft traditions, and literature. Themes of home, displacement, loss, and longing are central to her work, reflecting her ongoing exploration of identity and place.
Youvalle Levy (b. 1991) is an artist and publisher based in Berlin. After studying photography at the Berlin Technische Kunsthochschule and architecture at the Universität der Künste, she developed an interest in urban spaces, form, and the overlooked aspects of everyday life. Her diverse body of work spans installation, the photobooks, printmaking, video, and ceramics. Levy brings spatial and material sensitivity to her image making, often incorporating experimental and analog techniques such as cyanotype and risograph printing. Most recently, she has been experimenting with hand-built ceramics as a photographic ground.
